I wish I could leave like, 4.75 stars because it's almost perfect. My husband and I had previously gotten Atomic Biscuit delivered and we did BYOB (build your own biscuit). I'm a breakfast enthusiast, so I loved getting to craft my own and it was so good. This past Saturday we felt like venturing out of seclusion for breakfast and Atomic Biscuit was our destination. While I'm sure they would prefer to be packed, we were relieved when we arrived at 9:00 on a Saturday to find adequate available seating. We were instantly offered seats at the bar and started weighing our options. I will say, I'm a gawker and I spent a little bit of time enjoying the mod/mid-century aesthetic of the restaurant. It's a vibe I really enjoy. Hubby and I both ordered hazelnut lattes and that's where I'm going to ding them a quarter star. While I am not a frenzied coffee snob, I am a frequent drinker and I'm relatively well-versed on the ratios involved in specialty drinks. Upon my first sip of the latte in question, I was...not thrilled. It was really a hazelnut cappuccino as there was not nearly enough milk to qualify as a latte. My coffee tastebuds have been conditioned by a certain PNW-based chain you may have heard of, so I added an embarrassing amount of sweetener, but it was still very bitter. After adding a tiny pitcher of half & half, it was more potable but I wouldn't say I enjoyed it at all. My husband liked his though and drank the whole thing. But why are we here? The biscuits. My lord - they're enormous. My husband got the biscuit that comes with country fried steak, gravy & an egg. He loved it. However, he did say mine was the winner - a CRISSSSSPY fried chicken breast, herb cream cheese and pepper jelly. Chef's kiss! It's super savory with just a whisper of sweet from the jelly and so flippin' good... I ordered bacon to put on it, but I just ate the bacon because I honestly think it would've complicated things. I'm glad to report our biscuits' integrity was not compromised by the hefty filling/toppings. We both got the cheese grits, as we'd had them with the delivery but mine weren't as good as I remembered. The first time, I remember them being really decadent and creamy, but in-house they were sort of runny. Maybe it's just me, I like thicker grits. My husband asked for butter and when given the option of bacon butter, I think he shed a tear... When he tasted it, he wept. While there are visible (large) shards of bacon in the butter, I didn't get a strong bacon flavor. It was super good, it just tasted kind of like brown butter to me. All in all, I highly recommend Atomic Biscuit - we will assuredly go back to try more of their same menu!

Atomic Biscuit redeem itself! Went back because I do like this restaurant, and the owner asked me not to throw in the towel. Had the same meal and it was great, I really like the G-Force also very good with brkft. I love the old movies and music as well. Many thanks to the owner.

Though there was some room for improvement, I liked it! Started with mimosas. The option with a bottle of Prosecco and assorted juices. It was decent, basic juices, no pizazz. Had the avocado toast. I loved it. Unique and tasty. I would order again. The service was just ok. Our server was training someone new and seemed not to know quite enough to be training someone else. They were both sweet though. It's a nice addition to the area

Love the midcentury modern inspiration! The aesthetic is lovely and traditional. The menu is slightly pricey but there are fresh, organic, and vegan options that would explain the slightly higher than surrounding cafes prices. Also, the portions are quite large and shareable. As for the food, I was pleasantly surprised. It's a simple brunch menu but it's plated very nicely and tastes amazing! I loved my buttery, crumbly biscuit called Eden's Garden. It's perfectly sized (cathead) and browned. The french toast was unlike any other. The blueberry compote was splendid; sweet, syrupy, and fresh drenched on top of the multigrain bread french toast with a dollop of whipped butter and mint leaf. Loved how this was presented and it tasted just as great as it looks! Overall a great experience! I honestly think it's the best breakfast and lunch spot in the area. I can't wait to return and enjoy another morning biscuit.
